The Roosevelt Island Racquet Club is New York City’s oasis. Often referred to by our members as a “hidden gem”, the club is welcoming and spacious with the most gorgeous views of the Manhattan and Long Island City Skylines.
Our twelve clay courts and a comfortable clubhouse are home to an expansive team providing the best in both adult and junior programs. From beginners to world-class pros, Roosevelt Island wins the game.

The Club is next to the Tram and directly under the 59th St. Bridge. Parking is behind the Bubbles on the Queens side of the Island.

Directions By Tram
The Manhattan Tram Station is between 59th – 60th Street on Second Avenue. The tram runs every 7.5 minutes during rush hour (weekdays 7 AM – 10 AM and 3 PM – 8:00 PM) and on the quarter hour all other times. On the island the Tram Station is just north of the club. The cost for the Tram is a regular fare (currently $2.90 each way) with MTA’s Metrocard and allows transfers as well. The ride is approximately 4 minutes each way.
Directions By Ferry
Hop on the Astoria Route of the NYC Ferry and ride to the Roosevelt Island stop. From there, it’s just a short walk around the corner to the Roosevelt Island Racquet Club.

All of our membership options cover 9/1 – 8/31. Anyone who joins during the season will have their annual fee prorated for whatever remains of the “membership year”. Anyone joining with the monthly payment plan will have the first month prorated (if necessary) but will auto renew at the full monthly rate after that.
Monthly Rate or EFT is a membership payment option that allows dues to be paid throughout the year. The club will automatically process the posted fee every month for the year.
