Eleanor Burks is from Little Rock, Arkansas, where her tennis journey began in the highly competitive USTA junior circuit. A talented athlete, she quickly established herself as a ranked junior player in the USTA Southern section. During her high school years, she excelled as a dominant competitor, consistently holding the #1 position in both singles and doubles.

Eleanor continued her athletic pursuits at Hendrix College, where she maintained her impressive performance by claiming the #1 spots in singles and doubles for four consecutive years. Her passion for tennis eventually led her into coaching. Before joining RIRC, she spent six years teaching at both the Little Rock Racquet Club and later at the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club.
