Roosevelt Island Racquet Club

Marina was a top-ranked player in Brazil from 2014-2018. During that time, she competed in tournaments in more than 10 countries and reached a career-high ITF ranking of 160 in the world. She represented Brazil in the South American League and the Junior Olympics

In 2018, she received a full scholarship to play for Division 1 Louisiana State University during her freshman year. After one year, she left for a full scholarship at Division 1 University of Illinois Chicago, where she led the school to a Horizon League Conference Championship

After college, she worked as a tennis coach at the well-known Midtown Athletic Club in Chicago and as an assistant coach at her alma mater UIC.
