Demi Jhaveri started playing tennis at age 4 in Cleveland, Ohio. As a junior, she played nationally throughout her high school years. She competed at the Division I college level for 5 years, first as a member of the Valparaiso University tennis team for 4 years and followed by 1 year at Fordham University, where she earned her Masters degree in Media Management.

Since 2017, she worked as a tennis professional throughout her college years at Avon Oaks Country Club in Ohio, teaching kids camps and running clinics with juniors and adults of all levels. Before coming to RIRC, she worked with the USTA/Eastern Section, running sanctioned L-6 junior tournaments.
