Plus a commitment to players’ improvement.
- To make the most progress, children need to play and practice at least twice a week during the school year
- Matchplay sessions, offered at New York Tennis Club (NYTC) on weekends, help hone skills. Transportation is provided

The Advantage Jr. Development program is based on the USTA junior pathway which is customized by age, ability, ball color and court size. The Program covers the Orange Ball 1 & 2, Green Ball and Yellow Ball stages. This proven teaching method can really help improve your child’s skills.

Olivier Morel, Advantage Jr. Development Co-Director at MPRC, was born in France in 1972 and reached a career-high ranking of #360 in singles and #160 in doubles on the ATP Tour in 1997. He moved to New York City in 2000 and started coaching in elite private clubs. In 2009 he went back on the ATP and WTA Tours as a coach, working with the world’s top players, including Victoria Azarenka, Ernest Gulbis, Ana Ivanovic, Sergei Bubka, Fernando Verdasco and Mischa Zverev. His background makes him uniquely qualified to be our director.

Milos Vojvodic, Advantage Jr. Development Co-Director and MPRC General Manager, led his Division 2, Francis Marion University tennis team to top-10 national ranking. He then taught and coached for 8 years at top clubs in the metro area (NYAC, Bonnie Briar, Tennisport) and 6 years in his native city, Belgrade, Serbia. Today he builds on this experience coaching ITF ranked juniors as well as players of all ages and levels.

Julien Morel, Tennis Pro, began coaching ATP/WTA players part-time in 2000, including Mary Pierce at the French Open 2000 (winner) and the Williams sisters at the US Open 2001 (both in Finals). He turned pro in 1992 and his best ATP rankings are # 680 in Singles and # 540 in Doubles. Julien joined us at MPRC in 2012.

Ana Bezjak, USTA-certified Tennis Pro, turned pro in 2007. She toured worldwide and achieved a WTA ranking of #665 in doubles. Ana co-developed a program in 2011 in Dallas, TX to prepare high-performance junior players for tournament competition, and joined our staff at MPRC in 2015.

Pavlos Stephanides, USPTA-certified Tennis Pro, was recruited by NCAA Division #1, Temple University, where he played #4 and #6 in singles, and #2 and #3 in doubles. After graduation he became a tennis pro, working
with ranked juniors. Pavlos currently coaches Nationally ranked and Eastern Section ranked junior players at MPRC.

Neda Kozic, USPTA-certified Tennis Pro, was the top female player in the professional leagues during her training at Germany’s TC Waldsted facility and went on to achieve a WTA ranking of #399 in singles and #224 in doubles. In 2011, in Dallas, TX Neda co-developed a specialized coaching program to prepare promising juniors for competition. She joined the teaching staff at MPRC in 2015.
