Advantage QuickStart players are coached by qualified professionals who receive intensive specialty training in teaching the Net Gen 10 and Under curriculum. We are proud to introduce you to the team.

Gabe Slotnick
Gabe teaches Advantage Tennis Clubs’ QuickStart program at Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club and developed and directed the Summer Youth Program. PTR-certified in Adult Development, 11-17 and 10 & Under, Gabe has his USPTA certification, as well. He is also the Director of the West Side Advantage QuickStart Tennis Summer Camp.

Amanda Bell
Amanda has taught at Advantage QuickStart Tennis for the past 8 years. She was a ranked junior growing up in Connecticut and played Division 2 singles and doubles at Clarion University of Pennsylvania for 4 years. She also coached at the Country Club of Fairfield and Offense-Defense Tennis Camp in Milton, MA. Amanda enjoys working with and inspiring children on the court and emphasizes fun while teaching QuickStart. She can be reached at abell@advantagetennisclubs.com

Nancy Livak
Nancy learned to play tennis at summer camp when she was six years old and has been playing ever since. She has worked with youth for over 20 years including teaching sailing, skiing, and knitting to kids of all ages. Starting in 2019, Nancy began coaching youth tennis at Vermont Sport & Fitness in Rutland, Vermont.
During the summer of 2021, she coached at the National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York, and joined the Advantage QuickStart Tennis team in the fall of 2021.

Angelica Mehta
Angelica has been coaching with Advantage Tennis Clubs’ QuickStart Program since 2017. She grew up playing tennis, and began teaching at age 15. Angelica is currently in law school, studying education and immigration law. She loves working with kids and helping them develop their tennis skills!

Christian Roumain
Christian Roumain, QuickStart Tennis Director at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club is passionate about teaching Red Ball Tennis. Christian first picked up the sport of tennis while growing up in Haiti. Certified by the USTA to Coach Youth 10 and under and a Net Generation Provider; Christian started teaching at Advantage Tennis Clubs as a way to give back to the sport. A USPTA Certified Tennis Instructor, Christian has several years of coaching experience in the NYJTL Community Tennis Program and most recently for the USTA at the BJK National Tennis Center.

Naseem Sadik
Naseem Sadik has been teaching tennis since he was 19 years old. His goal in teaching is to provide an outlet for people to express themselves and their love of the game. Naseem believes that helping guide those who want to express themselves better on the court will not only help them play better in tennis but in life. To express oneself is the ultimate form of self-love. The goal is to carry this self love towards the love of humanity and connecting to it others. Helping anyone enjoy the game more with a different level or approach would be what he considers his objective as when coaching/guiding all players.

Daniel Shtein
Daniel was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He is currently a Junior Psychology Major at Baruch College in downtown Manhattan and has been playing tennis for more than 15 years and continues to enjoy learning and improving each day. Daniel was part of the varsity high school tennis team all four years where they became three time division champions. He also played many USTA tournaments in his earlier years of his playing career. He says he greatly enjoying playing but even more so, he enjoys teaching! Daniel has been teaching tennis for more than three years and hope to teach for many years to come.
