Santi was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he was ranked among the top 100 players in the Boys’ 16s and 18s divisions as a junior. He went on to compete at the Division I level for Alcorn State University in Mississippi, where he was a four-year starter on the Men’s Tennis team and earned his B.A. in Business Administration in 2022.

After completing his collegiate career, Santiago transitioned into coaching and has worked with players of all ages and skill levels. He spent three years coaching at Sportime John McEnroe Tennis Academy and also coached at the historic West Side Tennis Club before coming on staff at RIRC in 2025.
