Rupie began playing tennis at the age of 10 in India, competing in Indian National tournaments, ITF junior events, club team tennis in Germany, and later playing four years of college tennis in the United States, competing in both singles and doubles. She finds her greatest joy in teaching tennis and introducing new players to the sport, and takes pride in creating fun, positive, and memorable experiences for everyone at Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club. As a tennis coach and Director of Adult Programs, her goal is to grow the game, make tennis more accessible across age groups and levels, and build a happy, healthy, and welcoming tennis community.
