About Callum
Callum Poland-Smith is a British tennis player who developed his game through national and international junior competition. A right-handed player whose preferred surface is grass, he began playing tennis at age seven. As a junior, Poland-Smith represented Great Britain on the ITF circuit and competed in tournaments throughout Europe and the Caribbean.
His junior accomplishments included winning an international under-14 doubles title in Davos and establishing himself among Britain’s nationally ranked young players. He later moved to the United States and competed for ASA College, playing at the top of both its singles and doubles lineups. During the 2015 season, he helped ASA defeat Fordham by winning No. 1 singles in commanding fashion and partnering successfully at No. 1 doubles.
Poland-Smith subsequently competed for ASA College Miami, where he was identified as the No. 2-ranked singles player in junior-college tennis during the 2016 season. His background combines British junior development, international tournament experience and high-level American collegiate competition.
