About Adam
Adam El Mihdawy is a native New Yorker who learned to play tennis as a youth through the NYJTL. He rose to be the #1 junior in all age groups in the USTA Eastern Section and ranked as #1 nationally in 16 and under. As a junior, he trained with the USTA coaching team, including Gene Mayer, Tim Mayotte, and Gilad Bloom, and was a member of the USTA Junior National team.
On the pro tour, Adam reached 30 career singles finals and 23 career doubles finals, achieving a career-high ATP singles ranking of 281 and ATP doubles ranking of 330. After leaving the tour, he taught at Gilad Bloom Tennis at New York Tennis Club. He joined RIRC in 2024 as Senior Coach High Performance.
