Members can reserve up to two weeks in advance. Non-members can reserve up to one week ahead.
I’m trying to register for a class, but it says I need a “skill level”, what’s that?
We use USTA NTRP ratings to level our adult classes and ensure a consistent experience for all players across our locations. To get your skill level, please contact us to register for your first class. The pros will assess your tennis skills in class, our Rating Committee will assign a skill level to your profile, and you can then register for classes yourself through your Plan2Play app!
What happens if I am running late?
There is a strict 15 minute grace period for group classes. After 15 minutes we reserve the right to give your spot to someone on the waitlist.
Which level should I choose?
Pick the NTRP level that matches how you play now. If you are not sure, choose” I do not know” and tell us a little about your tennis background. Our team will follow up to place you in the right class.
I am completely new to tennis. Where do I start?
Our Adult QuickStart beginner series is the best place to begin, with a six week course built for brand new players.
Where are classes held?
Roosevelt Island Racquet Club, Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club and New York Tennis Club.
