We are excited to announce our new transportation initiative for participants in our 2024-25 Junior Programs at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club. We will be providing two routes for your child to safely and comfortably get to the club.
- Servicing the Upper East Side with three pickup locations and using the Roosevelt Island Tram.
- Servicing Long Island City and Roosevelt Island dropping off directly at the club.
We are using safe, comfortable, twelve-passenger vans with our competent drivers. In addition, your child will be accompanied by an Advantage Tennis Clubs Chaperone.

The cost per child for round trip transportation to and from Roosevelt Island Racquet Club is $55 per round trip.

Route Information
Upper East Side to Roosevelt Island - Monday-Thursday
Stop 1: The Town School, pickup spot 76th Street and York Ave, bus departs at 2:45 pm
Stop 2: PS 183-Robert L Stevenson, pickup spot E 67th Street and 1st Avenue, bus departs at 3:10 pm
Stop 3: PS 267-East Side Elementary, pickup spot E 63 Street and 2nd Avenue, bus departs at 3:30 pm
The bus will then arrive at the Roosevelt Island Tram at 3:40 pm, where our staff will ride the Tram with our children and supervise them to our club before the start of the 4 pm classes.
(Please note: Children will be responsible for their own Tram fare.)
ROOSEVELT ISLAND TO UPPER EAST SIDE (RETURN TRIP) - MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS
Our staff will bring the children to the Tram at approximately 5:40 pm and take it towards Manhattan. The van will then pick the children up at 6 pm, and make the following stops:
Stop 1: PS 267, dismissal spot E 63 Street and 2nd Avenue, bus arrives at 6:10 pm
Stop 2: PS 183, dismissal spot E 67th Street and 1st Avenue, bus arrives at 6:30 pm
Stop 3: The Town School, pickup spot 76th Street and York Ave, bus arrives at 6:50 pm
ROOSEVELT ISLAND TO UPPER EAST SIDE (RETURN TRIP) - TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
Our staff will bring the children to the Tram at approximately 6:10 pm and take it towards Manhattan. The van will then pick the children up from the Tram at 6:30 pm, and make the following stops:
Stop 1: PS 267, dismissal spot E 63 Street and 2nd Avenue, bus arrives at 6:40 pm
Stop 2: PS 183, dismissal spot E 67th Street and 1st Avenue, bus arrives at 7:00 pm
Stop 3: The Town School, pickup spot 76th Street and York Ave, bus arrives at 7:20 pm
LONG ISLAND CITY TO ROOSEVELT ISLAND - MONDAY-THURSDAY
Stop 1: PS 112 Dutch Kills, pickup on 37th Avenue and Crescent Street, bus departs at 2:45 pm
Stop 2: PS 76 William Hallet School, pickup on 37th Avenue and 10th Street, bus departs at 3 pm
Stop 3: PS/IS 217, Roosevelt Island, pickup directly in front of school on Main Street, bus departs at 3:10 pm
ROOSEVELT ISLAND TO LONG ISLAND CITY (RETURN TRIP) - MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS
Stop 1: PS/IS 217, Roosevelt Island, the bus will arrive at 5:45 pm.
Stop 2: PS 76, dismissal spot on 37th Avenue and 10th Street, bus arrives at 6:00 pm
Stop 3: PS 112 Dutch Kills, dismissal spot on 37th Avenue and Crescent Street, bus arrives at 6:15 pm
ROOSEVELT ISLAND TO LONG ISLAND CITY (RETURN TRIP) - TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
Stop 1: PS/IS 217, Roosevelt Island, the bus will arrive at 6:15 pm.
Stop 2: PS 76, dismissal spot on 37th Avenue and 10th Street, bus arrives at 6:30 pm
Stop 3: PS 112 Dutch Kills, dismissal spot on 37th Avenue and Crescent Street, bus arrives at 6:45 pm
