Theodore “Teddy” Angelus is a native New Yorker who grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He learned to play tennis in Forest Hills and was drawn to the competition and the joy of playing.  Teddy was the captain of his varsity high school team at Avon Old Farms in Avon CT., where he played both singles and doubles competitively.

After graduating from Boston College with a BS degree in General Management, he had a successful career in the recruiting/executive search industry here in NYC. He moved to Roosevelt Island in 2019 and rediscovered his love for the game. He joined our front desk staff in 2020 and now concentrates on game arranging, member services and pro scheduling.
