Advantage Sports & Arts Camp at Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club

Newly expanded for 2016!

Here’s a better-than-ever choice for boys and girls ages 4 to 12! It’s Advantage Sports & Arts Camp, offering tennis, swimming and rock wall climbing plus so much more! We’ve added art classes, crafts and indoor sports – even the option of a “field trip” each week. It’s all happening right in midtown Manhattan! Join us for half-days or full days, Monday through Friday at Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club and the Beacon School, right across the street.
Our tennis program engages players of all ages and levels, from beginners to recreational players to serious tournament competitors. For children who are new to tennis, our QuickStart program uses shorter racquets, smaller courts and slower-bouncing balls to make the game more accessible. Girls and boys receive instruction in the basic strokes, scoring, strategy, and sportsmanship. We introduce competition when appropriate, but still keep the atmosphere fun and friendly!

We are also committed to your child’s safety. The camper to staff ratio is 5:1, allowing for close supervision. During swimming, campers will be watched by a Water Safety Instructor who is assisted by licensed lifeguards and our camp counselors. Boys and girls receive basic swimming instruction and enjoy recreational swimming, too. For added adventure, there’s rock climbing! It all adds up to a stimulating, confidence-building experience – and an unbeatable summer.
