Advantage Junior Tennis Camp — 2020
The Advantage Junior Tennis Camp program runs for 13 weeks from June 8 – September 4, and incorporates tennis with other recreational activities to round out the day. The camp is located on beautiful Roosevelt Island, NYC’s oasis in the East River. Offered by the Roosevelt Island Racquet Club, the camp utilizes a nearby pool and gym along with various athletic fields just a short walk from the club. The camp program is for children ages 6-17.
Advantage Junior Tennis, founded in 1970, is the City’s oldest and most established junior tennis program. These year round programs, which continue to grow rapidly, were developed to meet the needs of the city’s young tennis community. We serve players of all ages and levels, from our QuickStart program for children ages 4 and up, to recreational players, to serious tournament competitors. Our mission is to provide each player with the opportunity to learn, improve and compete, or simply to have fun with friends. Our team of instructors and coaches proudly includes some of the finest coaches in the East at excellent and convenient facilities in New York City.
Facilities at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club
Now in its 26th year of operation, Roosevelt Island Racquet Club features 12 Lee “Fast Dri” green clay courts under new air conditioned bubbles, a completely stocked pro shop, locker room facilities, mid-court lounge, river view lounge, and nearby free parking.

The camp offers one week sessions for the weeks of June 8, 15, 22, 29 July 6, 13, 20, 27, 29, August 3, 10, 17,24, 31.
Daily Curriculum
9:00 – Arrival at Camp
9:00-9:15 – Warm-up and Stretching
9:15-12:00 – Tennis Instruction, Drills and Games
12:00-1:00 – Lunch
1:00-4:00 – Match Play, Cross Training, Swimming, Tennis Instruction
4:00 – Departure From Camp
Transportation
Door to door transportation is available from Manhattan at a cost of $250 per child per week. $160 per child per week, multiple children at one stop
| $875 per week for one week $800 per week for two to six weeks $780 per week for seven or more weeks Monday – Friday 9AM to 4PM 10 Days – $1,900 20 Days – $3,500 30 Days – $5000 Daily pass days must be purchased at one time either paid in full or with a $200 deposit for every 5 days purchased.

| Fees include all tennis activities, lunch for full day campers, snacks, swimming, and outdoor sports. SalesTax, if applicable, is not included in the fees. All campers receive a camp T-shirt. |
