About Advantage All-City Junior Tennis Camp 2013
The Advantage All-City Junior Tennis Camp program runs for 12 weeks from June 11 – August 27 and incorporates tennis with other recreational activities to round out the day. The camp is located at the New York Tennis Club in Throgs Neck, NY, just a short ride from Manhattan, lower Westchester and Queens. The camp program is for children ages 6-17.
All-City Junior Tennis, founded in 1970, is the City’s oldest and most established junior tennis program. These year round programs, which continue to grow rapidly, were developed to meet the needs of the city’s young tennis community. We serve players of all ages and levels, from our QuickStart program for 4-10 year olds, to recreational players, to serious tournament competitors. Our mission is to provide each player with the opportunity to learn, improve and compete, or simply to have fun with friends. Our team of instructors and coaches proudly offers some of the finest coaches in the East at excellent and convenient facilities in New York City.
Founded in 1886, New York Tennis Club is the oldest active tennis club in New York. Throughout the years it has maintained a reputation for its relaxed atmosphere, the congeniality of its members and its professional programs. Convenient to Manhattan, Queens and lower Westchester, the NYTC is recognized as one of the metro areas best tennis club values. For the indoor season, the club has two climate controlled bubbles with shadowless non-glare lighting. We offer adult recreational and competitive programs for all playing levels, including leagues, a comprehensive game arranging program, private and group instruction, cardio tennis classes, and much more The junior tennis program at NYTC offers QuickStart classes for ages 4-9, year round after-school and weekend classes, summer and holiday camp programs, and tournament training for advanced junior players.

Paul Fontana, Director of Tennis
Paul Fontana is a certified USPTR and PTR professional with 28 years’ experience as an instructor, manager and director. He has shared his talent with NYTC Indoor since 2010. Paul was named PTR Eastern Professional of the Year in 1992 and 2001 and was also the Director of Tennis at Grand Slam Tennis Center in Greenwich, CT.
Slavina Kaplanska, Teaching Professional
Slavina was ranked #3 in the woman’s national ranking in her native Bulgaria as well as playing in ITF sanctioned tournaments before being recruited by Seton Hall University. She also competed for the National Team of Bulgaria as well as club teams of CKSA, Maxi ans Maleevi (2002-2007). Her leadership abilities and warm personality allow her to connect with players of all ages and levels.
SCHEDULE, FEES and TRANSPORTATION
The half day program runs Monday thru Friday, 9am to 1pm. There is an optional afternoon program from 1pm to 4pm that includes lunch, followed by recreational sports and swimming at SUNY Maritime, located 2 minutes from the NY Tennis Club.
Camp Dates: The camp offers one week sessions, the weeks of June 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12, 19, and 26.

OPTIONAL AFTERNOON: $250 additional fee
FULL-DAY TENNIS PROGRAM FROM 9am-4PM (Includes lunch and other optional sports activities).

Door to door transportation is available at a cost of $150 per child per week.
