Advanced Singles League (Spring Season)
Week 11 of 12 has finished with 13 matches played! Five matches split sets, resulting in wins for Solomon Fallas (now with 4 straight victories), Rob Becker, Tom Williams, Sandip Buch, and Haim Mizrahi (now with 3 consecutive wins)! Congrats to Jason Hanan, winning his way into the 4.5 Division! Charles Cohen won his 24th consecutive match! This is a new ASL record! I’m going to have to have Giovanni Germanetti return from Italy for a showdown! This is the last week of regular match play. The following week, May 21st is the first week of Playoffs. Please make sure you review the Spring Ladder and Scores to make sure your match results are accurate! I’ll confirm players for Playoffs next Thursday or Friday. Send me your availabilities for this upcoming week (Mon-Thur). The more nights you have available, the easier it is to schedule matches. Please show up promptly at 9pm for your matches so both you and your opponent can warm-up properly.
Our 5th annual Club Championships is still underway! There’s still time to enter the Men’s/Women’s Open May 18th-20th. Join our past members and be a part of the RIRC tradition. You can see our past winners on our plaque behind the front desk or online. Email Jason if you’d like to participate.
